This podcast is with Brian Wight who owns Dutch Bros. Boise and his story is incredible. He and his wife Libby opened their first stand when they were 23 years old and had 3 up and running during their first year. Most people don’t know how difficult this is and you can hear in his voice how challenging an undertaking it was.
Over the following 8 years, they have grown from 1 stand to 9. They grew from 6 employees to 250. They grew into one of the most beloved businesses here in Idaho and earned Boise Business of the year in 2014.
We talk about some of the marketing they did in the first few years and what worked and what didn’t. We talk about how generous they are and how that is part of the culture of their business.
